Apple’s new iPod Shuffle!
Recently, Apple unleashed World’s smallest music player, a new improved and visible reduced – iPod shuffle. Its unbelievably small, about half the size of the earlier versions, 45.2 mm (1.8″) tall x 7.8 mm (0.3″) thin to be exact and first of its kind as it can talk to the listener via a feature known as VoiceOver. The size has been reduced dramatically by transferring all the controls to the earbud cord, which is actually good for those who do not want to reach out for the iPod whenever they wish to change the music as per their needs.

About the VoiceOver feature, it speaks the Artist and Song’s name with the touch of a button on the controls which is strategically placed on the earbud cord without interrupting the music. The new iPod Shuffle also supports multiple playlists as VoiceOver announces their names, too. It also supports multiple languages as well, though not much of a need for me but hey! whats the harm of having another new feature.

The new iPod Shuffle 4GB can also tell users status information like battery life ,etc. It can hold upto 1000 songs (as per Apple) and comes in silver or black and features a new aluminium design and a built in stainless steel clip that makes it wearable and cool accessory.The box contains iPod Shuffle, Apple earphones with remote, iPod Shuffle USB cable (45 mm / 1.8 in) and a quick start guide.
It will be available in India within 4 weeks for a maximum retail price of Rs. 4,900. By the features of it, it sure looks worth it. So let the market decide.
